I.V. vs. Port Access?

I would say I.V. - 100%, however, Sam is pissed off BIG TIME - hates her life - it's not fair - yadda yadda yadda - cry cry cry - Matt tells her to stop being a baby - that goes over big. I rec'd a call back from clinic and ANY rash over the port would mean I.V. (100%) which makes sense as far as possible infection AND tegederm/coverderm etc on the psoriasis. So we will emla her wrists and inside of her elbows and hope to God that Bob gets it the 1st time - or he will no longer be "Super Bob". Of course, it'll be my fault either way. I'll make sure of it!

Bob did tell me that the "Bactrim Rash" closely resembles psoriasis and did the dermatologist do a biopsy. He did not. He told me that after using the Dovonex for 2 months, she is to go back and if it is not better, then they'll do a biopsy. So now I'm freaking out slightly. We will address that further tomorrow when we get to clinic.

Matt starts camp tomorrow - thank goodness as I am done playing Pokemon this week - "Dialga, I chose you!" and playing referee..but I love being with these kids so much more than working and am enjoying every laugh, cry (and sometimes stressful and annoying) minute!
