Sam had her photo shoot w/ the Mayor the other day...thank you Mayor Iorio for proclaiming September Leukemia, Lymphoma & Myeloma Awareness Month in Tampa! Some of the pictures are above (Thanks Cindy!). This family that you see in here are from one of the LLS' TOP fundraising schools for Pasta for Pennies. This year they raised $6,600! Go Clark Elementary!!!! I am REALLY hoping to get McKitrick involved this year and have got to get with the PTA. I know Sam & Matthew would be all for that. Got to get moving on that one as it is starting up very soon. Wish me luck there...
All is well here, Sam is feeling great, thank God! We leave tomorrow morning for Discovery Cove (Matthew's birthday gift from a wonderful neighborhood over in Villa Rosa)! We are also staying at the Nick Hotel tomorrow night, which I know we will enjoy! Thanks so much to Kelly & Scott (and neighbors) for making this all happen and making Matthew feel so special. He is so incredibly excited (as is Sam to see Matt get to swim with the dolphins like she got to do last year)!!
I start work on Monday and am looking forward to that.
